I helped out employees with research on casting, show ideas, and details of production and field shoots. I rotated between the departments of development, digital media, production, post-production, and business affairs. I also assisted with deliverables in post-production, transcriptions, and digital campaign ideas.

I was promoted from my previous part-time internship position I held Spring 2017 by station manager Jason Crane. I then had my own alternative music radio show every weeknight from 7-11pm, which gave me the opportunity to really be creative and make part of the station my own. I also represented the station at sponsored events and assisted with promotional events around town.
CENTRE COUNTY REPORT
January 2018-May 2018
I was accepted into this selective class of 18 students in which every week a live news show was broadcasted to 24 counties in central Pennsylvania. Each week I compiled packages as a news reporter, and also served as lead anchor for a rotation. One of my newscasts was nominated for a MidAtlantic College Emmy Award. In addition to reporting and anchoring, I also held positions in the control room including floor directing, graphics, audio, and playback.

Fall 2016-May 2018
I was a member of the Thursday newscast team and alternated between lead anchor, sports, commentary, and weather segments for each weekly broadcast. This made me more comfortable speaking on air and accustomed to reporting news.
